King HerodBorn: 73 B.C
Died: 4 A.D Works as: Roman Client King of Judea From: Idumea, Iron Age Kingdom of Edom Married to: Marriame Edom was located in present-day Israel |
My LifeAchievements: At age 25 I was appointed governer of Galilee by Antipater. I was dethroned by my nephew Antigonus but 2 years later I was appointed "King of Jews" by the Roman Senate. To get payback the Romans and I captured Jerusalem executed Antigonus. I proceeded to make myself emperor of Judea and give myself the name of Basiliius. One of my greatest accomplishments in life was the expansion of the second temple.
Setbacks: As I mentioned before I was dethroned by my nephew Antigonus, I also executed members of my family such as my wife, that was not one of my better days. In A.D. my dear temple was destroyed and in my later years I suffered from Ateriosclerosis which eventually led to my death Best/Worst Day Ever
Best: By far the best day of my life is when I executed my enemy Antigonus. His decapitated head was a wonderful sight to see as I stood on the new Jerusalem land that would be mine.
Worst: The Darkest day of my life was when my temple was destroyed. So much hard work put into it (by slaves), and now its almost completely wiped out. Likes/DislikeLikes: Im really into oppressing my people and being a cruel jerk to everyone. I also like to work with Roman Conquerors to accomplish my goals.
Dislikes: I really do not like Jesus Christ, he is a threat to my throne and therefore I wanted to kill him and failed. I am also a very jealous person so I don't like people to have more riches than me. For a modern representation of this dislike of Jesus check out this video |
